Privacy Policy – Geminian Inventory Management

This policy describes our practices in plain language. It is not legal advice. If you need advice for your own situation, consult a qualified professional.

Who we are

This website and application (“the Service”) is operated by Geminian Inventory Management.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process the following categories of information:

Identity and contact details — first name, surname, postal address, telephone number, and email address, when you provide them (for example in your profile, settings, or correspondence).
eBay inventory data — information relating to your eBay listings and inventory that you import or sync through the Service (such as titles, SKUs, quantities, prices, categories, identifiers, images where applicable, and related fields stored by the application).
eBay sales data — information relating to orders and sales imported or synced from eBay (such as order identifiers, line items, amounts, dates, buyer-facing fields as returned by eBay APIs, and related records used for reporting and inventory management).
Account and technical data — WordPress account details (such as username and email), authentication tokens or credentials needed to connect your eBay account, server logs, IP address, browser type, and similar technical data typical of web hosting and security monitoring.

Payment and subscription information

We do not collect or store your card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials on our systems for subscription billing. Payments and subscriptions are handled by an independent third-party payment or subscription provider. When you pay or subscribe, that provider processes payment data under its own terms and privacy policy. We may receive limited information from them (for example confirmation that a subscription is active, plan type, or transaction reference) to operate access to the Service.

How we use your information

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service (including syncing eBay data, dashboards, inventory, and sales features you choose to use).
To communicate with you about your account, security, or changes to this policy where appropriate.
To comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users and the Service.

Legal bases (where applicable)

If data protection laws such as the UK or EU GDPR apply, we rely on appropriate bases including: performance of a contract (providing the Service you signed up for); legitimate interests (for example securing the platform, improving features, and fraud prevention), balanced against your rights; consent where we ask for it; and legal obligation where the law requires us to process data.

Sharing and international transfers

We may share data with:

eBay Inc. and its affiliates, when you connect your account or when data is obtained through eBay’s APIs, subject to eBay’s policies.
Hosting, email, backup, analytics, or security vendors that process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. The public contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which may process technical data such as your IP address and browser information under Google’s privacy policy.
Your subscription or payment provider, as needed to validate entitlements.
Authorities or third parties when required by law or to protect legal rights.

Some recipients may be located outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) for international transfers.

Retention

We keep personal and business data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, and accounting requirements, dispute resolution, and enforcing our agreements. Retention periods may differ by data type; when data is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it where practicable.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Service may use cookies or similar technologies that are essential for login, security, and basic functionality. The contact form loads Google reCAPTCHA, which sets its own cookies to tell humans and bots apart. If we use non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, we will describe them in an updated notice or consent tool where required.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law; material changes may require additional notice or consent.
